At Children’s Colorado, treatment begins as soon as the child is diagnosed, and care continues through childhood and into adulthood. We provide patients with pediatric experts, comprehensive care, a multidisciplinary team and insights from leading research. Our team also helps your family navigate the health care system and advocate for your child.

Families visit the hospital in Children’s Colorado’s state of the art multidisciplinary clinic, which allows you to see all of your child’s providers in one comfortable place. As your child grows, their needs are continually re-evaluated based on their life stage, growth and development. This means that the team of specialists working with you and your child may increase or decrease throughout treatment.
Our multidisciplinary team meets monthly. Your child’s appointment takes about 30 minutes and includes seeing all of the necessary specialists. During the visit, we involve your family in developing a treatment plan that is unique to your child. An after-visit summary with this plan is given to you before leaving the appointment.
Before you leave, our staff assists you with scheduling appointments to implement the treatment plan and coordinate with community resources as needed.
